Born & bred from a long line of Scot-Irish-Dutch Southerners who trace their heritage back to the middle 1600's when a poor tailor stumbled off the Dutch Ship Good Hope in the harbor at New Netherlands. My particular shoot from that root settled in Missisisippi.
Background: undergraduate degree in Physics, advanced degrees in AeroEngineering (control systems) and Divinity. Navy pilot for 23 years and upon retirement planted a church in Maryland. I tell folks that I made so many promises to God when I was flying that I had to work full time at paying them off. Was ordained a pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America in 1995.
